Build a new business in hours, not days
AI didn't build Maverick Digital. Motivation did. AI just meant every hour went on the business, not in it.
On 13 October 2026 I bought a domain. Within 30 minutes there was a live website. Within hours, a business. People ask which AI did it. Wrong question. Motivation did it. AI just got out of the way.
The blueberry field
I grew up on a banana farm. I couldn't wait to get away from the hard work, so I went picking blueberries. Same devil, different disguise. Standing in that field, all I could think was: "There's gotta be an easier way." That question has driven me for 28 years in adventure travel, and it's the reason Maverick Digital exists.
It's not the tool
Everyone has access to the same AI. Most people use it to write a slightly better email. The tool isn't the edge. What you hand it, and what you do with the time it gives back, is.
On the business, not in it
Most owners spend most of the day working in the business: emails, admin, fixing the website, chasing the same answers. I trained my AI team, Team Smarketing, to work in it. I talk an idea into my phone, they build it, I check it. Nothing goes live until I've said yes.
That leaves me doing the one job nobody else can: thinking. Working on the business, every single day.
One tip you can borrow today: write every decision down once, somewhere your AI reads first. You'll never explain the same thing twice.
The only thing in the way
I'm not a coder. I can maybe bolt together a bit of HTML. Building this business taught me that the gap between an idea and done has closed. What's left between you and your ideas is your own drive.
AI took away the excuses. Motivation did the rest.
The honest record, day by day, is in the case study. Not a how-to: the level of detail is the point. Read how Maverick Digital was built →
Written October 2026. AI moves fast: the principles stay, the tools change.

A thumbs up costs you nothing, but it helps others find the good stuff.
Every idea here is mine, sorted with Claude's help.
