Skip Facebook. Make your own event page with AI.

Invites, quizzes, trip pages: build it in minutes and send the link. Nobody needs an account to come.

Planning a 50th, a school reunion or a fundraiser walk? You don't need a Facebook event. Tell AI what's happening, get a page with its own link, and text it to everyone. Done before the kettle boils.

Whose land is your party on?

For years the event invite lived on Facebook. It worked, until half your friends deleted their accounts and your mum never had one. Every guest needs a login, and the platform keeps the guest list. Rented land, even for a birthday.

Now you can build your own page in the time it takes to write a group text.

The nerd bit: what's an artefact?

In Claude, an artefact is a small, working web page AI builds while you chat. (Claude spells it "artifact". We're in Australia.) It gets its own link, it's private until you share it, and it can do more than sit there: count down the days, show the map, run a quiz, and some can even take RSVPs.

You describe it like you'd describe it to a mate: "My sister's 40th, Saturday 6 December, 6 p.m., at the surf club, bring a plate, 70s theme." Then you tweak it in plain English: "Bigger heading. More orange. Add a dress-up idea for people who hate dressing up."

What people are making

Birthday and wedding invites. A trip page so the whole group has the plan in one place. A trivia night quiz. A "who's bringing what" list for the Christmas barbecue, so you don't end up with nine potato salads.

One safety rule

Anyone with the link can open the page. So keep your home address, phone numbers and the kids' names and photos off it. Send the address privately to the people who say yes. 🛡️

Your event. Your page. Your guest list.

Once you've made one, you'll see where this goes. I run my whole business website the same way: I talk into my phone, it gets built. See how I built this site →

Written October 2026. AI moves fast: the principles stay, the buttons change.

Every idea here is mine, sorted with Claude's help.

Want your business running from your phone too?

The same idea that builds a party invite can run your website. Talk to it, check it, publish it. No developers needed.
